A New Day

Its said that every day is a brand new start. Well, today is definitely a brand new start. Yesterday seemed odd to say the least. And it dawned on me as sit here to scribble my thoughts that a memorable day happened a couple of days ago involving the Lady Callie. After only 2 lessons with me, she is now riding kaiila...well, ok, she galloped from the corral to the end of the treeline alongside the stable but for never having been on one of the beasts before, she has potential. She still has trouble remembering what the saddle horn is but for 2 lessons, she will be an avid rider before she knows it. I am proud of her. Thinking back at how her eyes would grow wide as the beast would take off in a fast trot or her squeals when she felt she was gonna slip out of the saddle. I cant help but chuckle.

Well, Kory and I had our first brotherly fight. He's such a shit he said something that I took very wrong and had me up in arms. We settled our differences as brothers do and things have settled. If its one thing I dont like doing is seeing my brother upset becuz of me...seems my walking away from him after he said what he said hurt his feelings. I didnt realize just how much him and I are like true brothers...siblings of the soul I would like to think of our relationship to be. Well, it seems duties call...Tarn is gonna try out the new formation that I helped him develop...crossing my fingers and toes that it works!
