Life Takes On More Changes

Finally, Ive caught up with all my duties seems my trip to Cos for a hand set me behind at least three! And Ive made sure that the reports were flawless and Trenton did tell me he was pleased...so my work was not in vain. So much has happened on this trip to Cos. Seems things have changed quite a bit. Especially my relationship with Callie. Seems we've become very close since our trip, spending most of our time together...there were few times she and I spent time apart and upon our return we found it difficult to return to our own chambers at days end. The vast expanse of our own chambers made it seem like such close quarters and very comfy on the serpent. I claimed Callie on the thassa...we agreed that we were meant for each other and so I claimed her in my heart, my soul and so once on Lydius soil I sought out Trenton and asked for the formalities of a contractual arrangement and well, we are on our way to being joined. In one hand we will be legally joined in a free companionship. Im not nervous, not at all...:::gulp::: I have asked Meg to make me some ceremonial leathers. Callie thinks black with red trim being that most men seem to think its their pyre they are attending. Personally I found no humor in that comment but she seemed to snicker quite easily. Black with no trim is fine with me and I informed Meg of such.

As for ember and tessa, this joining is a big step and aye, call me stupidly sentimental but I felt they needed reassuring. They are still new to my collar and true they have no choice in any of the decisions in my life but I want them secure in knowing that nothing has changed between my girls and I. Things will be as they are, just maybe the sleeping arrangements have been altered. I did set ember aside and spoke with her, Im glad I did for it did quell her fears. I am so proud of her, she has learned much on my chain and every day, her bond to me grows and strengthens. She knows that she is mine and there is nothing that will change that...except maybe death but even then, I have decided if I perish, she will go with me. Aye, her lot upon my death will be death as well. I think she knows now just how secure she should be in my collar and if she has trouble remembering such, I will find a way of reinforcing such. As for tessa...I will speak with her come la'torvis.

There is so much to be done for the preparations to the joining and I hope that Kory doesnt work so hard that he forgets he is to stand with me, he nearly shit when I asked him to stand in a double ceremony which I doubt he will do cuz he's VULO! That's right Kory Rakin, vulo man ye are but I love ya anyway! So I will stop the quill here. I am sure that I will be scribbling quite a bit in the next few days!
