Our Journey Begins....as One

I sit here quietly watching Callie slumber finally in our own furs...no more sneaking from Jared, no more having to wake up at daybreak and send her to her chambers...we are finally together. The firelight dance along the walls casting shadows of peace and tranquility, the crackle of the fire serving as background music. I couldnt sleep, very excited you could say. The joining ceremony and feast was an event fit for the grandest of warriors and I am humbly honored in all that my Ubar and Ubara have done for me. The beach was like no place on Gor I had ever been to, like I went there for the first time in my life to set foot on Lydius' sandy shore. The canopy, the flowers, the tables...the elite guards forming the arch for Callie, Kory all decked out and looking handsome as always...everything was perfect. And Callie, she was beautiful. She normally is but last night she was moreso. A day I will never ever forget...the day I joined my beautiful mate. Our vows spoken from the heart will forever be etched there.

This day will live on forever in my heart and even though I am too tired to sleep. I will go lay down and hold my mate and hear her breathe.
