Day to Day

Well, my rence...I still cant seem to write in you consistently sooner than I have been. Life is so full of events as of late. My wee ones are growing do fast, wanting to run before they walk. I am finding them getting across the room before I can blink an eye. Callie is perfect...I gave her her own kaiila in celebration of our renewing and a necklace. The necklace serves a dual purpose...partly as a gift in renewing our joining and the other as a reminder of who she is to me outside of the renewal. There will never nor can there ever be another woman in my life. She would have to give me a damned good reason for me not renew the contract and so far that hasnt happened. Of course I would hate to think what my hot temper might do if she did give me good reason...we'll not think about that. But anyway the necklace is a manifestation of the invisible chains to my heart.

The other night I was at the arena just quietly practicing some moves when Trenton and Kory showed up. The tarnturd just had to rush the Ubar and so the Ubar took us both on. The man beat us both! The spar was a lot of fun. Serves me for some good practice but now I need to hone my swordsmanship. I've joined the Tournament of Blades within the next hand or so I will be practicing on the Rapier. Its my understanding that the tournament will be on board a ship so I will have to practice much, never having sparred on a ship. It will prove interesting. I know Kory has joined and the warrior Darius Riggs. Trenton says that he is getting an excellent response.
Kory..I have missed my brother much as of late. He and I have been so very busy but we did make a pact to kick each other's arse in a few good practice runs before the tournament. That always proves to be fun. We released the larls last night. Kory, me and ember went to the pens and well, with saddened eyes we released Tem and Tur into the forest. They have out grown their space here in Lydius and even looked at ember as if she was a Kajira snack. My poor girl...she was like scared prey but it was enjoyable to watch I must admit.

Well, my rence of thoughts...that is all, I must get back to my duties.
