The Tormaigh Family Grows

The last couple of hands have been quiet and pleasant. Its nice to come home from duties to a woman that loves you, the sound of children's laughter and the smell of baking sa-tarna and knowing that you can smear a pound of honeybutter on a thick slice. Aye, my life has finally come full circle. Im finally happy. I've found my true mate and our family is growing. Poor Sana, I think she's a bit in shock that she is having more than one baby...excited but motherhood is coming at her full force. She is having trouble keeping her food down and she does look pale. But we do have our fun regardless. Like the night I came home from my duties and found her and the children in the servery....baking...imagine that...my sons, who I expect to grow up to be mighty warriors baking cookies, covered in flour and enjoying themselves. I put a stop to that immediately and sent them to their room, including Breanna. And then Sana, being the brazen desert urt she is blew flour all over my tunic covering me in white stuff. Well that started a food fight...first it was flour, then it was eggs and finally honey. Needless to say it landed us in the furs where it should have led to the bath but Im not complaining. Now I know that food gets her very excited especially if its all over me. We sat with the children last night out on the balcony thinking maybe we would get some ideas on names for the babies from them. The boys were too excited about an upcoming trip to the desert to think about names. Sana told them they had targets to sword fight with and that riding kaiila out there would give them a good challenge cuz they would sink in the sand...and Breanna got reall excited on that and said she wanted to sink the sand too! Breanna was the only one that offered any names....fiesty little spitfire came up with a couple that actually werent all that bad for her small en'vars...only they werent real names. At least I havent heard of them. One was Torvan and the other was Tumasan....little nut she heard someone call her da a Torv once and said Torvan meant "one like da". I could only assume that Tumasan meant "one like Sana" since she is from Tumas. Breanna had me in roars of laughter. Then Sana told the children a touching little tale about her name. Afsana means a tale of love and laughter for Brennus. They enjoyed that and I think the children can all sense my happiness with this woman. She even wants me to hold her hand while she goes to see Lady Clair every moon...I just have to chuckle she is so dependent upon me so. Some may think its too much or too sweet but that's only becuz its not happening to them. Anyway, she didnt tell the children what Taslim meant...at least not yet. But I know. It felt good to spend time with my family. I love them all so much. I can see it in Sana's eyes that she concerns herself with my twin girls. We havent talked about it but they are with Callie and Im sure they are fine. Maybe I should pay them a visit.

The trip to Schendi hasnt happened yet but it looks like Sana and I as well as the Ubar and Ubara will be attending the festival in Koroba. I still have yet to submit my registration form and pick the events I wish to participate in. Maybe after the festival will we be going to Schendi and I suppose we better go now that Sana can travel come the last leg of her pregnancy Im sure she will be confined to Lydius. Lady Clair made it very clear she would be taking care of Sana.

And guess who dons the championship ring again? I do! Finally beat that turd of a brother of mine, Jared and I've had the ring for a few hands now...nobody seems to be interested in getting it from me...they must be frightened to spar me for it :::just grins cuz he knows his brothers well and sooner or later one of them will come after him:::

We'll see what the next couple of hands brings...
