5th day of Fourth Hand of the Month of Kavars (12) in the year 10,157 CA

Seems time gets away from me before I know it another moon passes. It has already been 3 moons since my last scribble of rence. So much happens in Lydius it all makes your head spin and its still an alluring city to most Goreans but out of those that come only the strong remain. I've always known it takes a certain type of personality to remain in Lydius, known it from my first visit here.

It seems our marketplace is booming with the impending season, we have more shops open and more shops openning up. Two grand openings for a clothing shops happened within a couple of moons of each other and Odin, chocolate everywhere! Lady Bea must be really happy. Callie's event went well and as suspected she will not close her shop. I know we discussed her becoming a woman of the red caste but she seemed to have a much stronger calling. I think with the shop and all she wishes to become a merchant. So as I saw the excitement in her eyes, I helped her with her studies, not that I know anything about being a merchant but even I learned a few things so it wasnt all so bad. She's undergone some mentoring by Katie Brant and she even told me that she drove a hard bargain in her mock sale. I must say, she's made me very proud but I stressed that she will not let her caste work stand in the way of being my woman or the needs of our children and she confidently told me that it would never happen. So with that confidence I have condoned her progression into the Caste of Merchants. She merely awaits her registration numbers and I know she is anxious for the scrolls on my desk in our chambers have been rifled thru before I get to look at them. :::grins as he continues scribbling::: but the best part of all of this..is she is with child once again.

Lady Clair seems to have told her that her cravings for cheese sauce only means that she is having more than one male child. I dont know why I cant seem to have just one. We even tried the breeding wine bit but I missed her being with child. She made it such a joy we both loved it so much. So we back tracked and sure enough, my virility astounds me. Now Callie tells me she wishes to have 80 children. Of course all I did was blink. I only wanted 27 then she upped the antie and said 65....now its up to 80. Surely she jests...hopefully she jests. Sindel and Vandelarius have that job to populate Lydius and I know he's busy with his duties, I see him but I havent spent any time with him so I know he's busy somewhere. Odin love my brother! Anyway, the only child that isnt a twin is Breanna. Callie brought something to my attention and I wonder if she ever feels different or alone becuz of it so Callie and I have decided that one of these hands we will take her on a trip just the three of us and spend a few days together. Make her feel like the little Ubara of our hearts. My children are growing fast and I want to enjoy them now while I can.
